Below is an overview of our baseball
program which outlines important dates for registration as well as
beginning and ending dates for the season. You can also print a
registration form from our site by clicking the graphic to the right.
The registration form will open in a new window; once it opens just
print the page, fill out the form and mail it to the address provided.

2006 Baseball Season
T-ball is for boys and girls ages five
and six. Machine Pitch is for boys and girls ages seven and eight. To be
eligible to play, a child must be five years old by May 1, 2006 and
cannot turn nine years old before June 30, 2006. The purpose of the
baseball leagues is to teach baseball fundamentals, promote good
sportsmanship and show the value of teamwork. Official scores and
win/loss records are not maintained. In T-ball the baseball is being hit
off of a tee, and in Machine Pitch the child is being pitched to from a
pitching machine.
The season begins on April 29h and runs through June 24th. No games will
be played on May 27th due to the Memorial Day Weekend. All games are
played on Saturday mornings. Practices a held once a week starting the
week of April 10th. Your child’s coach will pick the day of the week,
time and location of the practices.
Practices and Games will be held at the fields located at Prince of
Peace Church, Faith Baptist Church and Salem Baptist Church. The Apex
Jaycees reserve the right to change field locations due to unforeseen
circumstances.
To register your child(ren), we are very happy to announce the option of
on-line registration, please click on Register link the bottom. If you
would like to still you’re your application , please complete the
registration form located at the bottom . A registration form for each
child must be completed. Any incomplete forms will be returned to you.
If you would like to request for your child to be on the same team as a
friend, please enclosed the forms together when possible. We will try
our best to accommodate you, but we do not guarantee team placements.
Registration is based on a first come first serve basis!
We have given you the option to purchase pants for your child. All pants
are $8.00 they are from Reebok and will be distributed with your uniform
(hat & shirt). If you would like to pre-purchase this item, please mark
the size on the registration form and include the $8.00 in the total.
Registration forms should be mailed to the Apex Jaycees at Post Office
Box 118, Apex, NC 27502 along with the registration fee of All
registration fees are nonrefundable, unless your child is not placed on
a team. All registration forms must be postmarked by March 1, 2006.
Parents will be notified by the coach of their team assignment by April
4, 2006. If you have not heard from your coach you may contact the Apex
Jaycees at 990-1250 or www.apexjaycees.org.
A special note to parents: The Apex Jaycees are composed of volunteers
between the ages of 21 – 40. We are always looking for individuals to
join us in our civic endeavors. Our chapter must continue to grow in
order that we may continue to offer this league tot eh community. In
addition, we sponsor the Apex Christmas Parade, Christmas Needy, Annual
Car Show and other state and community projects. As a parent with a
child in the league, we have a special benefit for you. If you join the
Apex Jaycees now, you may register your child for baseball at the price
